Colorado Rug and Fiber GuildThe Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild was formed as Chapter 123 of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists in June of 2010.
Our by-laws reflect our focus on education, and we have monthly programs to actively encourage members to try new techniques and expand their fiber/art horizons. The guild meets the 4th Saturday of the month at Arvada City Hall - 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada - in the Campbell Room. (Use the Police Department entrance in the back of the main City Hall building.) The doors are opened at 9, meeting starts at 10 and the gathering can last until 4 p.m. We welcome visitors and new members regardless of any experience in the fiber arts. So what is so cool about ATHA? The national organization puts out a great four-color magazine that is delivered 6 times a year! As an ATHA organization, Colorado Rug and Fiber Guild has a focus of sharing our fiber knowledge! Please join us for a fun day of hooking, chatting and YUM, our favorite. . . .eating! Click the button below to visit the ATHA National Website. Members can log in on that website for free downloadable patterns and to read articles on many rug hooking techniques, dye lessons and finishes. |
