We have a grey snowy day here in Golden as the noon bell rings and the hooking possibilities abound! Come to our February meeting where we will have a fun exercise in creative thinking and development! Please bring a blank piece of backing that will fit your frame and a large baggy of cut strips. (We will have linen available for purchase at the meeting). Sandy Schleuter will be heading up the program and it is sure to be fun and thought provoking.
We had a great time demonstrating hooking and talking to the crowd at the Sew Expo last weekend. Many thanks to Jenny Schechter, MaryAnn Goetz, Gloria Shone, Judy Peterson, Emily Scudder, Pam Sisk, Cheryl Bollenbach, Quink Arlt and the person responsible for organizing our group - Teresa Rapstine! It is always a lot of fun to meet and talk with folks who are interested in learning more about rug hooking. Education is key and teaching the differences between Traditional Rug Hooking and Latch or punch is an eye opener for many people.
